Anders Lindvall was born in 1971. He obtained his Masters Degree in CivilEnginnering 1996 at Chalmers University of Technology In Göteborg, Sweden, and his PhD in Building Materials in 2003 also at Chalmers University of Technology. His PhD thesis dealt with issues related to durability of reinforced concrete structures with special focus on reinforcement corrosion. From 2003 until 2009 he worked as a researcher/teacher at the division of Building Material at Chalmers University of Technology. Since 2009 he is working as senior researcher/project manager at Thomas Concrete Group C-lab. The research of Anders Lindvall mainly covers durability of reinforced concrete structures and concrete technology. Anders Lindvall works a lot with assessments (health monitoring) of existing structures with respect to durability and service life.
