Biography

Honghao Li is an associate professor in School of Civil Engineering at Harbin Institute of Technology, Harbin, China. He graduated with honors from Harbin Institute of Technology in 2008 with a B.E. degree in Civil Engineering. He received two M.S.E. degreesfrom the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor: one in Civil Engineering in 2009 and other in in Mechanical Engineering in 2012. In 2013, he received a Ph.D. degree, also from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor and subsequently joined faculty of Harbin Institute of Technology.
Professor Li’s general research interest lies in computational and experimental analysis of civil structures subjected to extreme loading conditions generated by manmade and natural hazards, such as seismic excitation, vehicle impact, and blast. He has published 12 refereed journal papers in major publication venues.
