Biography

Dr. Ruoyang Wu received his PhD degree from the University of Utah in USA and has been working on the seismic rehabilitation of structures using advanced composites, such as Carbon Fiber Reinforced Polymers (CFRP) in the past years. He has alsoworked on developing analytical model for predicting bond behaviors in the reinforced concrete beams.
Dr. Wu has published many refereed papers in the international journals, such as ACI Structural Journal, ASCE-Journal of Composites for Construction, Construction and building materials, and Composite structures. He also publish many conference papers in TRB conference, ACI Conventions, and Structures Congress held by ASCE. Dr. Wu has also served as reviewers for TRB committees and many journals. Currently, he is a licensed Structural Engineer in the design of bridges and seismic rehabilitations of structures.
